02 The Approach

Migrate to the cloud and modernize application delivery from end to end

Provectus began with a review of Resource Innovations’s enterprise solution. The team examined data handling, how features were added to customer applications, and how environments were provisioned.

The first step was modernizing the development process itself. The team migrated version control to a modern system and introduced continuous integration. Development, demo, and QA environments were created and migrated to AWS. Engineers gained faster access to the tools they needed.

Provectus then designed a migration plan for production environments. Best practices for CI/CD and workflow automation were implemented. AWS services enforced stronger security for customer data and applications.

At the final stage, Provectus migrated customer applications to the new infrastructure. This involved staging environments, deployment and backup mechanisms, monitoring and logging integration, and database migration. The team provided guidelines for maintenance and support to ensure a smooth handoff.
